Laura has worked for North East Scotland Pension Fund for 21 years, during that time the role has evolved from being responsible for the accounting function to include investments as the Fund value increased. Taking on responsibility for the entire Pension Fund in 2013 as Pension Fund Manager, including all aspects of service delivery, accounting, benefit, employer relations, governance, investment and systems.

The North East Scotland Pension Fund is the 3rd largest Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme, with over 70,000 members 45 employers and £6bn in assets.

Prior to working in local government, Laura held a number of financial professional positions within a variety of private sectors, providing financial services to multiple companies within a group structure.
