Euan is the Managing Director at West Yorkshire Pension Fund (‘WYPF’), which has approximately £17bn of assets and 300,000 members. WYPF also manages shared service administration arrangements for a number of other LGPS funds and fire services. WYPF is part of the Northern LGPS Pool alongside Greater Manchester Pension Fund and Merseyside Pension Fund.

Euan’s roles prior to joining WYPF in 2022 include Assistant Director at Greater Manchester Pension Fund and being a consulting actuary for KPMG and PwC advising the trustees and sponsors of a range of private sector defined benefit schemes.

In 2008 he was seconded to work for the shadow DWP minister to help develop pensions policy in areas such as auto-enrolment and what would later become ‘Freedom and Choice’. Euan contributes to a number of industry groups, both in the LGPS and wider pensions market. These include being a member of the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association’s Policy Board and Local Authority Committee.
