Laura is an Associate Partner and LGPS Fund Actuary in Aon’s Public Sector team with 18 years’ pensions experience. Laura is based in Bristol and currently is the Fund Actuary to three LGPS Funds in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and governance and benefits advisor to another.

She supports the national LGPS through her attendance on the LGPS Gender Pensions Gap group and along with her LGPS role she manages the Bristol team of apprentices and graduates (to consultant level), including a large number of colleagues working on Aon’s portfolio of LGPS clients. Recently Laura has been focusing on supporting administering authorities with Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, managing employer risks and Climate Change scenario modelling.

Laura has a first-class honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Bath, graduating in 2006 and qualifying as an actuary in 2009. Outside of work Laura is a season-ticket holder at a well-known north London football club and has twins aged 5 which keep her busy the rest of the time!
