Andrew joined GIP as a Principal in 2008 and was elected a Partner in 2018. He focuses on the transport sector and is a member of the Investment and Operating Committees. He was instrumental in GIP's investments in Gatwick Airport, London City Airport, Great Yarmouth Port, Port of Brisbane, Edinburgh Airport and Terminal Investment Limited. He is based in London.
Prior to joining GIP, Andrew spent twelve years at Credit Suisse, where he most recently served as a Managing Director of the Investment Banking Division. During his time at Credit Suisse he worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions, Energy and Transport Groups. He previously worked in the Corporate Finance Business at BZW, which was acquired by Credit Suisse in 1998. Prior to BZW, he qualified as a corporate lawyer at the London-based law firm Herbert Smith.
Andrew holds an M.A. in Economics from Cambridge University. He is a member of the Boards of Directors of Gatwick Airport Limited, Edinburgh Airport and Terminal Investment Limited.
