, The Good Economy Sam Monger is Head of Place-Based Impact Investing (PBII) and Strategic Advisory at The Good Economy, where he brings around 30 years’ experience developing, reviewing and delivering investment solutions from both an advisory and investor/developer perspective. His work focuses on place-based investment, strategic advisory and how institutional capital can support regeneration, economic development and positive social outcomes. Sam played a leading role in delivering the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) UK Urban Futures Commission’s report Unleashing the Potential of the UK’s Cities and wrote the Investment Playbook, an introductory guide for local government on engaging effectively with private finance to support place-based regeneration and social impact. Before joining The Good Economy, Sam spent several years at Grosvenor, leading financial analysis, research and strategy across its UK property business, including its net zero and social impact strategies. He also led the development of Grosvenor Hart Homes, an impact-led social housing business.
