Pete Gent is Head of Investment Advisory at Border to Coast Pensions Partnership, where he is responsible for developing tailored investment policies that align with each Partner Fund’s investment objectives, investment philosophy, funding policy and risk tolerance.

He works closely with Border to Coast’s in-house investment team to develop research and strategic advice, including asset-liability modelling and portfolio construction, supporting Partner Funds in their long-term investment decision-making.

Pete previously worked at Mercer, where he advised several LGPS funds and, as UK Investment Consulting Director, was responsible for delivering strategic investment research to a broad client base. A qualified actuary, Pete has 18 years’ experience working with UK pension funds, predominantly in investment advisory roles.
