Karen has worked in finance for more than 40 years. Through Apex Advisory, she provides independent investment advice to the London Boroughs of Islington and Camden pension funds. She is also non-executive Chair of Resonance Ltd, an impact manager investing in social-impact real estate, and non-executive Chair of the Ministry of Justice’s Strategic Investment Board. In 2017, she founded Pensions for Purpose, now Investors for Purpose, a platform that promotes investment decisions that value people, planet and profit. She leads the firm’s “Place Lens” ecosystem theme.
