Dafydd is Shareholder Non-Executive Director for WPP IM Co and Independent Board Chair for Merseyside PF in the Northern pool. Former Board Chair at Powys PF too, until May 2026 when new Wales pool NED duties conflicted. He is also a company NED (vice chair at 'Adra'), and Finance adviser for the North Wales Fire Authority. Until retiring in 2023, he had been Statutory Finance Officer at both Gwynedd Council and Snowdonia National Park for 20 years. In addition to the usual Finance Director duties, he was Fund Director for north-west Wales's LGPS Fund, and chaired the officer group which originally forged the Wales Pension Partnership LGPS pool. Often found on the beaches or golf courses of Wales and beyond.
