Abigail is a Growth Leader in Public Sector Pensions at Mercer, she has over 20 years of finance expertise and 16+ years of specialist pensions experience. She previously served as Chief Finance Officer at Local Pensions Partnership Administration (LPPA), where she led finance, HR, risk and governance operations for a business serving 18 public sector clients, managing over 660,000 members and 1,300+ active employers across Local Government, Police, and Firefighter pension schemes. Her career has been defined by deep knowledge of LGPS pensions, including six years as Head of Lancashire County Pension Fund and S151 Officer for the London Pensions Fund Authority, she was also a key member of the team which established Local Pensions Partnership.
